AAA2008 Review [part 1]

Okay, my review. It's probably going to be REALLY long. I'm not going to post a lot of screencaps cause I don't want to make this longer than it should be (especially with no LJ cuts) - I made notes while watching so be warned for all the fangirling - and I might missed stuff cause I was doing homework too xD

They have their little solo introductions at this point with Jun camera whoring, saying lots of stuff and I think at the end he goes "Jun da yo~!" in this really cute way xD Nino with his usual "IRRASHAIMASE!", Aiba with his usual, Oh-chan being cute and going "HIIII" like he normally does xD Sho as usual, points to the camera and hypes up the fans and telling them to go "ARASHI!" Also I love Sho's hair - anyways - NINO SANG HIS LINE PROPERLY!! *giggles*

First of all, new costume (which I like ^^) Orange vest with camo pants and everyone - shoes - omg - WANT!. Order change, Jun, Nino, Aiba, Ohno, Sho. Jun camera whores as usual xD Nino and Aiba just sort of stand and wave and do peace signs. OMG OHNO! OHNO! You know what he does? He pretends he's fishing!! I love him *GLOMPS* And sho does this really stupid but funny pose and I sort of want to hug him after it xDxD

Happiness
Guys going onto the moving stages. Ohno and Sho, Jun, Nino and Aiba. Didn't make any comments ^^'' woops.

Hadashi no Mirai
As usual the mic stands come out, Sho I swear did some weird pose - I don't know if that's part of the choreo or not but it was real weird. Jun and Nino turned their mic towards the other direction from the other three and you know what? I'm still loving their outfits xD

Aozora Pedal
Pace of the songs are slowing down, but no matter, love this song. Sho sounds really nice when he sings this. In fact you know what? They all sound so nice when singing this song. Aiba disappeared =O I wonder why?! At the end, if you remember they have a small amount of choreo which I really like. ^^

OMG AIB SO CUTE CAN I HUG YOU?! This isn't my most favourite song but OMG SUCH A CUTE SONG! Aiba's missing in the beginning but he reappears in the middle. Everyone sounds really good during their solos (yes, even Jun =D), MatsuJun's bracelet changed and Ohno got a bracelet on his wrist too O_o

You know, I only like this song when they sing it during concerts. Like during Iza! Now and now, love this song during concerts. So good. The tempo is a bit faster I think? Can't remember. Everyone sounds really good and oh my god I'm just.. like.. love this song so much. *sighs*

Nino and Sho are talking in the background *snickers* - I love this song by the way (I just love the set list in general BTW xD). You got Sho rapping from a really high platform (it actually went REALLY high) and his voice didn't change at all. All other members were on the cranes like the one Ohno's in. ^^

OHNO IS A GOD! How the hell does he DANCE to this song? And you know what? He even walks down the stairs on BEAT. LIKE OMG WTF?! How does he do that? Like seriously. Dancing... so nice. *sighs* Ohno, why are you so awesome? like seriously. He also manages to hit all the notes, high low PERFECTLY. I swear, I like listening to the live better than the actual album version o_o

How did I manage to take 6 screencaps? ...hmm... Anyways, I love Niji so I love this solo even though it's exactly the same s the time con. Only difference? Nino isn't a waterfall (he's just dripping, not pouring). The crowd went "lalala" again except it was so much more powerful cause there was so much more people. xD Rainbow appeared on the screens and the words "arigatou" appeared. Madness ensued as Nino took of his glasses, I think you know the drill xD

It's not as bad as the time con. I tend to skip this song during the Time con but this time it's not so bad. The crowd did the wave while they sang so it was all nice. So many people in this concert o_o and there is the missing picture of Nino xD

Sho made this really constipated face which I didn't manage to screencap =P Sho also did some really weird arm rotating which Nino ended up making fun off xD Also, look at the pretty confetti!! Jun's flashing peace signs everywhere and as usual with this song there is dancing. =D

Aiba ended up raising the tension as usual. The performance was cute, last time I saw it on SCP I laughed cause it looked really gay and stuff but I guess it depends on what they're wearing and the atmosphere cause I seriously thought their performance here was like.. so awesome. They looked HOT. Also, there was a really small MatsuMiya moment =D

members appeared on a screen and talked and then they appeared near the torch. Seriously this looks REALLY cool, the torch like lit up and they sang up their and then they went into this contraption (look at screenshots) and slid down and overall it was pretty awesome. This has got to be the costume I like least honestly... like the red is nice but it's the gold. The gold >_<

It's all red at the beginning, it's really cool but then the red disappears and we see the ugly gold of the costumes >_> I have to say though, in the red, Ohno looks very evil. ^^ They have like flames that appear during this performance which look really nice and also the nice dancing as always. Sho's wearing this.. cape thing which really distracts me -_-''

They go along the walkways and dance in a line, during Sho's rap they did this weird.. like, cross-legged semi skipping thing that I can't explain but tried to take a screenshot off. Really weird -_-'' It wasn't bad or anything it was just sort of..wtf you know? At the end, they did the awesome pose I've always loved at the end of Step and Go, where they bring their hands down really fast and it's just like ^^ Makes me happy.

The ultimate Juntoshi song ^^ The jackets are (thank fully) taken off which makes the costumes they're wearing just that much nicer. I only like this song during concerts though. I don't have much to say, I was mostly going nuts at the Juntoshi-ness xD Oh. Jun disappears part way through the song too....

make my ears bleed -_-'' I wish he did Naked. *sigh* The beginning was kind of cool cause Jun appeared (looking amazingly H-O-T) and holding a flamethrower. Yep, you read that right. Is that not awesome? Things just sort of went down from there... but I guess Jun looked hot so that made up for everything. ^^'' Except at the end when the song wouldn't fricken END. It just kept going, "BAM! BAM! BAM!"....."BAM! BAM! BAM" I seriously was just like "END DAMN YOU!" What amazes me is how Jun can wear sunglasses at night....

anyways, onto the next performance (which I love so much) ^^. I really like this song. The costume changes to really nice pink suits. The four guys dance this really cute-ish looking dance and Ohno's voice is beautiful as always. =D Jun appears in the middle and then they walk towards center stage. Oh, the background on the screen is so pretty... I really like it and the ending pose they do. I love the way they end the song xD

So. Good. Everyone is so ON TUNE. It's beautiful. Jun? Jun masters his solo spot on. At first he went a bit off tune but then he perfected it and it sounded so... so.. good. Also, Ohno and Nino harmonizing together? HEAVEN TO MY EARS! So good, I love this performance so much.

You know, I finally could catch the english in this song because Sho was talking so slowly in the beginning. Normally when I listen to this song I can never make out the english but now I could and I was like "ooh..." I like this song live better than recordered ^^'' Especially when he goes "every say uh-ah-uh-uh-ah!" *laughs* Also the members appear on the back-screen, it's so cute. His shirt says Hip Pop on the back with a skull as well. Ah.. Sho. His solo's I don't know they're never my favourite but their always nice. ^^

Not a song but Jun appears (new costumes which look really nice by the way =D) and intro's the band/orchestra members. Nino appears and intro's the Juniors and then Aiba intro's the Arashi members. Jun sticks his finger into his mouth (which is more strange and weird than sexy honestly...), Nino does magic (OMG LOVE YOU!), Ohno goes cross-eyed (SO CUTE ^_^), Aiba does this gag (that you must've seen before) and Sho raps to Hip Pop Boogie while the members dance around him.
After they proceed to dance to this really catchy tune and the dance is actually sort of entertaining... ^^

I dont' have much to say about these three so I lumped them together. A.Ra.Shi must be played during concerts, ALWAYS *glares at DAL con* and Pikanchi Double is always a nice song to listen to (miss the choreo though..). Asu ni Mukatte I only listen to during concerts and it's always a nice song but I don't have much to say.

OMG THE BALLOONS LOL! I wonder if people saw random balloons on the streets of Tokyo after xD I have to say, MatsuJun sounded really good singing his solo line (normally I like.. rip my earsphones out-_-'') but he's been really on tune this concert =D I love the part where they all held hands then MATSUMIYA ZOMG <3. The water effects at the end? So beautiful. Oh gosh... so nice. MatsuJun - master at planning concerts.

Wouldn't be a concert without this song either. xD. There's a cute Ohmiya moment at the beginning ^^ The stage is also REALLY wet (which I love - I Love wet stages... ) MatsuJun runs like a girl to avoid slipping on said wet stage. He shouldn't even have bothered, I mean.. he would get soaked later on anyways =D (you will see what I mean...)

LOVE LOVE LOVE! They played Janken and Ohno lost so he had to jump into a tank. His expression when his head popped out of the water! Oh my god I wanted to HUG HIM SO TIGHTLY. He looked so cute. Half the time no one is singing, or maybe the cheering was so loud I couldn't hear, I'm still not sure. It was so cute, when Ohno was about to jump they started chanting MAOU! MAOU! and Ohno did this little dance and omg, HUG!

Ohno is cold, Jun loves his leader, JUNTOSHI AGAIN YAY! Aiba and Sho try to slide on the wet stage but fail horribly and Nino is like "what the hell?!" and Jun thinks it's fun to splash the audience with water. =D

Ohno's mic stops working and so he shares with Jun and OMG MORE JUNTOSHI <3!! Rain starts to fall as well ^^ They launch fireworks at the end, but Jun was standing so close I swear he nearly got hit o_o The fireworks, although not the greatest but it certainly was moving because.. it was a CONCERT, who the hell releases fireworks during CONCERTS. So pretty.. *sighs* Nino also splashes Juniors at the end with water, they splash him back and then run away because you never want to mess with Nino when he's angry. XD

Jun reappears and he's like "Hey!.... Hi!" which I found sort of funny. =P They climb up to the torch area and sing Sakura Sak and then come back down for Wish. Wish is always a cute song to sing at the end ^^ Will never forget the gay dancing they do for Wish. xD

AAA2008 in Kokuritsu

Haven't watched the entire thing but I've seen parts of it and oh. my. GOD. ARASHI = GOD.

I am so tempted to just order it online and buy it right now.. *sigh*

I would. I have no problem buying their concerts and albums (I have 4 con DVD's (AAA 2006 Documentary included) and the Dream "A" Live album) but I don't buy online. I bought them all from Hong Kong. But buying online would require parent permission and um.. they're not gonna let me. (-_-;;) *sobs*

when a HQ or at least MQ download comes out of the concert, be assured I will watch and write a LONG ASS RESPONSE ABOUT IT.

I wish I was Taiwanese, or at least in Taiwan or didn't have school... well I wish a lot of things at the moment but *sigh*. I can't go to any Arashi concerts for probably another 8 years unless they have a concert in my city in Canada, and reading about all these concerts is really getting me excited.

So.. some info about their concert in Taipei which happened October 11 and October 12.

Obviously this concert wasn't as great as their Kokuritsu Concert but it still sounded fun, especially the second day which seemed like a total blast. Bit worried about the mis-communication between Jun and Staff but at least nothing serious happened (thank god). Now to wait another 4 weeks for their concert in Seoul, Korea!

When that happens I'll also make a post with review links and other info.

The boys really love to eat Xiao Long Bao huh? Or maybe they just love eating... a mystery why they aren't fat. =P

Really proud of them. ^_^

Oh... my... god... is all I can say after reading the reviews about the latest Concert Arashi held at the Kokuritsu(?).

♪ ~ 70 000 fans went to the concert ~ ♪
♪ ~ The production cost for this concert was 1 billion yen (approx. $10 million CAD) ~ ♪
♪ ~ There were 200tons of water, 400 shots of fireworks, 50,000 balloons and 300 sets of wardrobe ~ ♪
♪ ~ They had a live band/orchestra play their songs for them instead of playing their songs electronically ~ ♪
♪ ~ Kobayashi Ryoko the actor for Shiori in Maou went to the concert ~ ♪
♪ ~ They lit up the Olympic Torch while singing Re(mark)able ~ ♪
♪ ~ Aiba, on the 5th jumped into a tank of water after losing in Janken ~ ♪
